I was wondering if anybody has put the PIAA Ion Crystal (yellow) fog lights in their 2k-2K1 max? How do they look? Would you suggest it? And also about the headlights... I have PIAA Super Plasma H4's right now.. but was wondering if anybody had recieved the "new" Xtreme PIAA's? Are they worth changing to? Thanks for your help guys..

I don't know about the piaa's, but has anyone been able to find the SilverVision lights from Philips? Those bulbs are for the front side blinkers, and the bulb looks silver, so it looks like you have clear corners, but when they are lit, the light is yellow-orange.

I talked to autobulbdepot and they are expecting the Xtreme Whites in a week.

I have the yellow PIAA fog light bulbs in my car , they look yellow at some angles and blue at others. They do look cool with the stock headlight bulbs.

Those are 1156 or single element bulbs shown. The 2000-2001 Max uses 1157 or dual element bulbs in the FRONT corner lamps. That's how we have a blinker and running lamp from one bulb. The 1156 will work in the REAR turn signal though. Hopefully, they make the 1157 in the silver, because I have the Polarg Visual 1157 in the FRONT and you can still see the yellow color reflecting from the bulb during the daytime. The silver would be much better.

You might try www.autolamps-online.com for the Philips SilverVisions. Although they are based out of England, they accept payment in greenback and they're currently offering free shipping anywhere worldwide.

Hey...

Do the front blinker have to blink yellow or can it blink white?

White is not legal, but I know many people get away with it. The cop would just be using that as an excuse to pull you over. I highly doubt he would just pull you over that. My next pair will be Polarg Visual white bulbs, unless these silver bulbs are availble in 1157's.

I thought about getting those, but I don't think they will match my Super White H3 and H4's.

Re: Re: Hey...

According to the CA Veh Code, white turn signals in the front are legal. What can get you in trouble is if your side markers are anything other than yellow. That's the reason why when people get clears, it comes with a yellow bulb.

Just a comparison for your thoughts.

Illegal white turn signals?

Is this only in Cali or does it affect every state? I'm not aware of any such laws in Colorado. Anyone out there know?

In Cali it is LEGAL to have white turn signals...just not non-yellow front side markers or non-red rear side markers.

Thanks. I'm going to see if it is the same for Arizona.

These silver vision bulbs look like a good deal. they do the job we want: make our our MAX look even hotter.
Dam lets get a group deal going on or something. I would buy them.
