Repair manual for '00-'01

I have the Haynes repair manual for 1993-2001 Maxima's. I don't see anywhere in it where it tells about something about a 5th gen maxima. So i was wondering what yall used, those of you who have a '00 or '00 maxima.

yeah it's all crap for the 5th gens in the haynes. no pics, all innacurate write-ups, and vague instructions. I think nissan has a service manual, but that's it right now.

I've seen the repair manual for the 93-2001. here's the thing, i think the manual is inaccurate, for several reason. First, the 3rd gen has an entirely different engine than the 4th and 5th gen. The 4th gen has essentially the same engine as the 5th execpt that the 5th gen VQ engine is a 2nd gen. So whoever is the publisher probably an idiot thinking that all gen Maxima has the same engine, same electronic. I think they need to take a class in Nissan school.

Here's what I did. I was looking for a manual for my '02 SE and I went on Ebay. I got the factory service manual on CD-ROM. It's nice because I can print off the pages that I want and if they get dirty, I throw them away and print new ones. THe CD cost $5 with shipping and includes numerous diagrams and everything that you want to know about your Maxima.

Legit or not. If you can get it significantly cheaper than what the Stearlership is charging then it's worth it.
