I still drive my max in the winter...its my first winter with it, but its taking it like a champ. I took it out after the most recent storm we had up here, and I remember how much I missed messiing around in the snow. I think I trust my maxima more than my old 91 explorer.

1992 subaru loyale wagon 4WD 0-60 in about 16 seconds. 177K miles. If this car was a shotgun it'd be a double barrel. It's sick.

dam, why people get so jealous?

I got a 98 Land Rover discovery i get to drive occasionly when its real bad out. I borrow it from pops. Other then that, i'm driving my (personally bought) 02 5.5 6 speed. I purchased with my own blood and swet. I worked at jpmorgan chase for 3 years, and made x amount of money allowing me to afford it.

If your parents want to give, it's their pleasure and priviledge. I know personally my dad came from nothing, and it's his pleasure to help me where he can. I damn well appreciate that and love them. Lets not all jump on the guy, it seems he works for what he has, and he deserves it.

I've got a 1990 ford ranger 4x4 pickup that I got for short money(has 180k on the clock). I would drive the max but I needed a truck for my dirt bike anyway so I haven't driven the max since Nov. I will take it out on nice days though.

well since my 01 maxima is at the dealer for a shot tranny... the honda dealer i bought the car from gave me a 05 gmc envoy.... and boy do i tell u EXCELLENT ride.... i recommend it to anyone lookin for a SUV that has a good gas mileage... but what got me the most was.... they gave me a ford explorer from the enterprise rental... the engine was a 4.0 and the envoy is 4.2 but the explorer chugged a hell load of gas..... and the envoy seems as good as my 01 max with the whole gas mileage deal...

-10 C = 14 F
-43 C = -45.4 F
-48 C = -54.4 F
-50 C = -58 F

I seen a GTO in the paper at a local Ponitac dealership- 24495, brand new, not even a demo ! We have a test track shared by 6 other dealerships behind my current place of employement ( Acura dealer ) and see the GTOs get beat up on by the technicians and such, its funny when I get into a pack of weirdos that are driving 350Zs and GTOs, and I'm in a RSX Type S. I've done quite a bit of road racing myself in my SE-R and the Max, so I know what I'm doing. RSX is a awesome road racer- especially the 05 model with its shorter gearing and more top end power, stiffer suspension and finally some better wheels n tires. Usually I'm right on the GTOs azz within a few lap, if I get on the track 1st no one catches up, RSX rocks. Point is... little sport coupe with a 4 banger can hang with the big boys with the larger engines, its not all bout power, but the whole package- brakes, handling, seats, transmission.

Winter Car you Say?

I have a 01 max gle, the car is great but not in the snow. I just got the car rite before the winter hit us up here in NYC, the car is a dream on the dry road but its a nitemare on snow. The car whips and slides like crazy but hey thats the price of getting a sporty sedan. I still have my 96 lhs which is a tank on the road and its great for my NYC streets in the winter. ABS, TRAC, Its a wonder why the MAX don't come with TRAC as a stock on the GLE that was a suprise to me I wish it had the TRac on the gle it would make life a lot easier in NYC in the snow. But all is good cuz finally My Chrysler LHS comes into handy beside its big comfy ride, and the system inside It can handle the snow better then the max

Thats cause you probably have some crappy tires installed on the Max. I have Blizzaks and I fly past SUVs from the light and on the highway, Blizzaks go soooooo much in the winter its not even funny.
