Another Air Intake question - Weapon-R Secret weapon Intake!
Hey,
I am sorry if this has been asked before but I was just wondering has anyone in this forum used the Weapon-R Secret Weapon Air intake? I haven't been seaching around the net lately but I found that this is a new product from Weapon-R. A few months ago I was looking to but the Weapon-R Dragon intake but many people explained that the filter on that intake was terrible and would screw up my MAF sensor. I was wondering if it would be the same with this new intake (if it is new).
Another question, would using a Weapon-R Air flow meter kit instead be better for the MAF sensors because it would only require replacing the OEM air box? I want to add an intake but I am afraid that I will have to change the sensor every few weeks.
Thanks in advance for the help!

Don't waste your money on the Weapon-R. For probably cheaper you can go with a Berk or Frankencar intake short-ram intake and I suggest an Apexi' filter. These are, imo, the best choices in intakes.

I know the Weapon-R is a little more $$ but I was just wondering about the new intake that they are offering. I wanted to see if they corrected the problem that the Dragon intake had...which was the filter problem/Maf sensor.
And my other question was.. would it be safer if I used an intake instead like the stillen high flow intake or the Weapon-R Kit b/c I was afraid that I might have to change the MAF sensor every few weeks?

I have a rule about buying mods:
Never buy anything that has any of the following:
1. "R" or "Type-R" . This is ONLY acceptable if you own an Integra.
2. "S" or "Type-S". Likewise, ONLY acceptable if you own an Acura.
3. Anything that advertises more than 5 HP gains for less than $100.
4. Anything that has a cheesy souped-up name like "Super Vortex Tornado Charger", "Dual-stage hyperchamber ultra-gounding super-wires", etc...
("Weapon-R Secret Weapon" qualifies as well, unfortunately
Car parts don't need cheesy names, especially parts that go under the hood. It's an intake. Nothing secret about it.
just my 2 cents.
