Those with DDE's...please help

I have tried and tried and tried to get those friggin headlights out but just can't seem to get them out. They are data dots, dunno if that prevents me from pulling them out. I got the two top bolts out and both of the mounting tabs, and when i attempt to pull the headlight up and out, it's like it wants to pull itself back in. Anyone know whats going on?
