Side View Mirrors Question

Does anyone know how to take apart the side view mirror. I have the mirror off the car, but am trying to get the mirror itself off. Can anyone help? Thanks.

The mirror itself is just attached with glue. You have to pry it off.

I'm trying to create some LED turn signals for my side view mirrors, similar to MaximaPolak...

Ok you said that you have the mirror off the car you need to push the mirror to the top of the housing and put your fingers under the bottom of the mirror, then pull out on it and the two clips will pop off and then you need to unclip the top they just slid under the plastic behinde the mirror.. Then you will have to take the 3 screws out to get the motor off and then there will be a grey and a black clip on the back of the motor remebere were the wires go cause you will have to put them back into place..That is if you need to replace the motor.. I dont know what you are thying to do .. i have taken both my mirrors off and all the way apart.. Its not that hard
