PIAA Xtreme White bulbs -- are they safe?

I was looking around on Custom Enterprise and found their PIAA Xtreme white H4 and H3 bulbs for my 2001. Their wattage ratings, however, are 65/60 for the headlights and 55w for the fogs. Anyone out there have these bulbs installed? Will these bulbs melt the stock wiring harness? Anyone know an average lifespan for the bulbs? Thanks for the help.

I had 85W Xtreme whites in my fogs and no cracking.......Don't get them from CE....too expensive. http://www.truckxpressions.com/truck...aa_bulbs02.htm

Here's what I have now.

I've had mine in for about 15 months now with zero problems (and both fog light lenses are now cracked, so they're probably not even sealed any more).

i tried two pairs of 65w bulbs for my high beams in my 02, and theyre supposed to be 55w, and they turned on but they were dimmer than the low beams! was that because of the wattage or was that just a coincidence?

No problem on my Xtreme White H3s (fogs)...I'd go with the super plasmas for a better match though...

I had Xtreme whites in my fogs for about a year with no problems. One finally blew out a week ago. And my pass. side fog light has been cracked for I don't know how long. Not sure if it was from the bulb though. I wasn't really happy with how they looked though. I'm waiting on some Super Plasma's which should be here next week some time. I've heard a bunch of people say they match the HID's better than the Xtreme whites (if that matters to you).
