Torque Steer worse after tire rotation?
Torque Steer worse after tire rotation?
I just had my 'new' Michelin Pilot A/S tires rotated (They had been on 13K mi since I bought them w/o rotating them). On the way home I swear that the torques steer is worse than I recall. Any time I'm accelerating it pulls to the right. If I'm just cruising along it doesn't pull, but as soon as I'm into the throttle, it'll come to the right some.
Ideas?

It didn't pull before, so I didn't get an alignment. It doesn't pull now, except for during acceleration, so I don't think it needs an alignment either. Last rotation was like I said in the original post, 13K mi ago when I got the tires.
sorry...didnt see that in the original post
thats a long time to go without a rotation. a good rule of thumb is every other oil change, or about 6k. Your tires probably wore a certain way and are now pulling after rotation. i'd get an alignment to compensate for the new wear. my $.02 is that a tiny adjustment in alignment can make a huge difference, especially under load (accel/braking) that you wont notice when crusing along.

Yea, I figured the too-long time between rotations might be part of it. I'm hoping it self corrects itself tho. The fact it track straight normally and only pulls under accel. is the weird part.
BTW - I did 20yrs in Grafton, weird seeing it out here.
