Engine mounts aging or something else?

2002 SE with 50K miles

For the past 4 months or so I have been feeling a little more vibration in the pedal and at idle. At idle it used to be dead smooth but now every few seconds or so I can feel a minor "skip" or vibration that gets a little worst when using AC. I have tried all types of injector cleaners and my car is in tip top shape engine wise (also clean air filter). Could an aging engine mount be causing me to feel a little more vibrations and if so how in the world could I verify this? It is nothing major I just want that silky smooth feeling back. It is definately not the cold weather nor has to do with the engine heating up.

Thanks,

Mark
