Does anyone have alot of wind noise from the back windows?

I hear a lot of noise from the back on the way to work .. its not bad at 60 but at 80 you really have to crank the stereo ... has ony one else noticed this .. also, I think I am going to take the wind deflector off the sunroof .. it makes more noise then its worth (I think) ... any input??
thanks

i have the same problem but i think mine is coming from the front window. there was actually a thread on this with a cheap easy fix and how-to. i was watching something on speedtv and they had a portion on getting rid of windnoise. first they rolled down the window and then located the gap where the seal wasn't closed all the way by running a folded piece of paper between the closed door and body.wherever the paper "catches" they marked and then stuck someting underneath the rubber seal so that when the door shuts there is actually seal touching the car and no gaps. so it fixed it.

yeah most 5th gens have a wind noise problem in the upper and rear section of the rear door window and door jam weatherstrippings. Mine is pretty bad as well but i have learned to live with it, i'll probably fix it in the spring when it's warm.

I did this fix and it worked great. Very easy. I did the front and rear and the interior is much more quiet now.

It looks like, on the rear window, the vertical seal is glued to the part of the door closest to the front of the car. Is that true?

Also, when doing the front windows, the vertical seal closest to the back of the car is glued in. I did not force it, but it would not peel back like the rear corners of the rear door. Can you only do the horizontal area of the front door?

I checked this out and the seal is glued in. If I try to pull it out I'm afraid the glue my rip the rubber. For the people who have already done this was your seal glued in? If so were you able to pull it off without anything happening? Also did you need to re-glue the seal after adding the foam?

Thanks.

isn't the dealer responsible for this if your car is still under warranty? do you have to pay for the service aliti?

It appears to only be glued in certain places. The pictures posted on housecor's site are areas that are not glued in. I did mine this morning.

It's the back of the rear window right? If so that is where I found the glue today. You didn't find any glue?

tried the fix listed above and it worked everywhere except the drivers side window/door. the noise has just migrated forward some. now i can't tell where it's coming from, but it may be the drivers side mirror area.

Yes the dealer is responsible IF it's still under warranty. There is a quick how -to to fix the problem in the TSB section. Check there.

I called my dealer, going to go drop the car off, the noise is getting out of control, plus the car sits low in the rear, i have 40lbs one sub box in the trunk, that should not kill the rear springs or suspension... offcourse i am gona take out the box before droping it off.
