Quick Steering wheel question

I got a 2003 TE SE and I was wondering are the buttons on the steering wheel supposed to light up when lights are turned on (for stereo/cruise etc)? I bought the car used and didn't know if they are supposed to come on or not. Kind of hard to figure out buttons at night!

Thanks

No, the buttons on the steering wheel do not light up when you switch on your lights. Nissan probabaly didn't want them to be driving distractions at night...who knows.

Peace.

I recently drove a Trailblazer it had the lighted buttons which were functional as they weren't too bright but you could see things - figured I had blown a fuse or something dumb like that... kind of sucks that they don't do that... oh well.. thanks for the info!
