Heated Mirrors??

Hey All,

I've Been Experincing Some Problems With My Heated Mirrors, My Driver Mirror Seems To Work Okay Not As Fast As I Would Of Liked But It Works On Humid, Moist And Rain Days... However. My Passanger Side Mirror Seems To Either Not Be Working At All Or Work Very Slow On Defoging The Mirror When It Snows, Rains Whatever You Name It. Has Anyone Else Experince This Problem With There Mirror??? If So Is There Anything That Can Be Done To Help The Heater Work Properly? Or More Efficently Like Do The Job Right??

Thanks :d

nope car has no warranty's on it. But the drive side just seems to work faster, and the pass side just seems to take a long as time to clear up from rain or snow or fog whatever's on there. N E ways thanks for the post... I'll just wipe it down everything with a chamois everything its foged or wet...

Well you could see if the mirror is still getting the 12 volts its needed. Look in the how-to section on installing heated mirrors and you will see where the heated mirror connector inside the door is. You can measure the voltage and see. If it is. then it could be the element inside the mirror is the problem. Or maybe it got disconnected somehow.

I had a 92 Max with heated mirrors and they worked great also. I don't have them on my 02 but I need them sometimes. I did not want all the other things that come in the Meridian Edition package so I may end up installing my own heated mirrors one day.

I agree, my 94 maxima's heated mirrors worked alot better and quicker. 02 Are offcourse slow. You need heated mirrors in the wintor with all that ice and snow.

I think ebay has heated mirrors on there you can buy and install yourself.

I need heated mirrors for foggy mirrors in the early morning humidity. Sometimes the whole windshield fogs up along with the mirrors. I can't see jack out of the sideview mirrors when that happens.
