actually a different intake question
i know...i know...i promise this one is different.
what intake sounds like what? any deeper or louder or whinier than the other?
i know there are minimal gains, but ill be the first to admit it....i want it for the looks, the sound, and to tell people i have one
the above reason (the looks) is probably why i want to get the injen. i know its hard, but can anyone describe the sound?
will get the intake and the y-pipe at the same time, so i probably will notice a little power.....but damn, i love that intake sound

any intake with a midpipe is loud and deep. just a popcharger sounds deeper than stock but still very acceptable. i heard an injen about a year ago on a 3.5 and it had a real nice tone as well. it sounded more like screaming than it did a deep tone.

i just have the GAB done and I can hear it...nice deep growl over 3K RPMs..exact same as the Stillen intake I had...which proves it doesnt really matter which one you have, increased airflow produces a growl
but now i have other stuff that makes even a louder deeper growl

I have an InJen. It sounds like Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Seriously: it sounds deep and loud over 4500 rpms. When I'm going under a bridge or overpass w/ my sunroof open it sounds like an Indy car when the engine's at 5500+ rpms. During normal driving conditions it sounds basically stock, so if you want to surprise someone, all you have to do is rev a little.
