2k actin up

hey all, my mom has a 2k SE and its been in the shop for the past two days because she needed all new brakes...well they replaced all the brakes and they also found a crack in what i think is the front wishbone (my mom wasnt very clear on this) and 600 dollars later we got the car back. so after i dropped her off at the mechanic to pick her car up, she called me and said that her engine was acting really weird. It would sputter when she stopped, it sounded rough and loud, the ride was really bumpy, and she didnt get much power out of it....does anybody know what this could be? is it the MAF? she called the mechanic and he said it could be a plug loose...but then again, i really dont know what it is they did to it in the first place so i have no clue whats wrong...if anybody experianced this, please help, cuz i can never trust a mechanic...all they want is the money. Oh and btw, the car has 190000 miles and it has been running perfectly until now

Take the car back and have them fix it. If the car ran perfectly when she dropped it off
then they should take a look at it. I've seen this before where the dealer said the car
ran like this, but infact they purposely disconnected something just so they can get
money from the customers for a simple fix they caused. Make sure you argue your
point and make them prove it to you in front of you. If you're not mechanically incline
take someone with you who is or else your going to get ripped off very badly. Good luck

Mike
