Question for those who swapped headlights to the 5.5 gen

To anyone who swapped out their stock headlights for the HID 5.5 gen headlights, cna you tell me exactly how much work, and how hard it was to make the swap.

this will really help me determine whether or not to get my rims or the headlights first

Not hard at all if you know what you are doing. Took me like an hour and 1/2 doing one side and about 1/2 on the 2nd side. I was being extremely neat and carefull. I didn't want to mess those babies up!

A note on the projectors, I still don't think that they are that bad. I just truely wanted HIDs.

Ditto, I dont believe they are all that bad either, but to get them then add a hid kit, I might as well just buy the OEM ones

I just took them to a local shop. Charged me $100 to do the install. It works, but he wasn't able to put on the high beam. So...I have no hi beam.
