Rattling noise in blower

Anyone have a problem with a rattling noise in when using the heater or A/C? I hear it underneath the dash on the passenger side. It doesn't do it all the time. The dealership couldn't find anything wrong b/c it wasn't doing it when they looked at it. (Of course!)

Suggestions?

Same thing here....it would only rattle when the blower was on the slowest setting though. I went to see if I could fix it the next day and it wouldn't make any noise at all at any setting and this was over a month ago. Somehow it fixed itself

Your bearing is going out in the motor. It'll only get worse. Start shopping now at your local scrap heaps for a used one and replace it.

I do not think i could have leaves in there but anything is possible. How could leaves get in there? The noise i hear does sounds kinda like a leaf hitting a fan at a slow speed...on a side note..one time an entire oak leaf was in my air box...haha

Well, I spent some time today taking this apart and inspecting the motor. I opened it up and put some lubrication in the motor. Noise has stopped. let see how long this will last...

Thanx. I printed the TSB and I'll tear into it. The noise I get is on all fan speeds and goes away after a while.
