P0139 +P1147 = Heated O2 Sensor bad?
Driving on a highway - Check engine light.....11pm....cruised down to Autozone, pulled p0139+P1147. Reset light.....did not come back in 45 miles.
Looked up in FSM, points to heated o2 sensor "delay response"....
Is this just a fluke or is this sensor should be considered dead and to be replaced?
Thanks

You know what....I've owned my 2k2 for approx 10k miles now....and out of those 10k miles I gotten 3 ghost codes....two of them had to do with some sort of sensor...and the other one was EVAP canister.....all of them erased and never came back....
I wouldn't worry too much....the reason why i say this is becuz....if your part is really broken...then the SES light would still stay on even after resetting ecu.....as for me those codes never came back...

These things have alot of ghost codes, they seem to come every once in a while. They mean absolutely nothing. The best thing to do....memorize the ECU Reset Procedure and watch for them to come back. Reset them, if they come back again (unlikely if its a ghost code) then youre fine. If it comes back more than twice...you may want to consider having it looked at.
