xenon headlights, cloudy inside

xenon headlights, cloudy inside

my headlights have some cloudy crap inside inside them, i tried cleaning the surface but i can tell its definetley inside

anyone know what it is?

can i take the headlights out and clean them?

Try a plastic polish on the outside. Rub hard and most of it will go away. You can take them out and take them apart, but you need to bake them in an oven to open them to clean the inside.

I've used Meguires #10 Clear Plastic Polish. There are a bunch of others, too, but I can't remember what they are.

i have the same crap on the inside of my 2K lights. i wish there was an easier way to clean this. it really takes away from the look of the lights.

i heard of one person who cleaned the inside with a piece of cloth through the hole where the bulb goes in and rinsed them out with water and jet dry so they wouldn't have water spots. maybe a pipe cleaner could be bent in such a way as to allow you to clean the lens through this hole and then rinse the whole thing out?
