extended Warranty for 2002 Max

question, I am in a delima here. Ok my car has 47,000 miles, I have a ses code of 139 per Autozone, I have no warranty. My understanding is sensor not covered under emmissions 8/80. Do you think I should get
the extended warranty to fix the o2 sensor problem ?

And, what is a good extended warranty to purchase for my car that is not too expensive ?

thanks

Unless I am wrong, does the 2002 not have a 5 year 60,000 mile warranty on the powertrain?

02 Sensors Not Covered Under Warranty Unless Under 3yr/36k And If You Purchased The Ext Warranty To Take Over Right After 36k. Just Found This Out The Hard Way, I Have 56k On My 01 Ae, And Had To Rear 02 Sensors That Needed To Be Replaced! I Thought They Would Be Under Warranty 60k Powertrain Or Even 8yr/80k, But Hell No, I Even Called Nissan Consumer Affairs To Find Out And The Young Man There Was Very Helpful And Explained That Only The Cat Is Covered For 8yr/80k No Matter What Per Fed Govt! But 02 Sensors Are Not Covered Under 80k Unless And Only Unless Your Vehicle Fails Emissions Testing Due To The 02 Sensor Codes Pulled, Then The Dealer Would Have To Replace O2 Sensors For Free Due To Emissions/fed Govt Warranty! In My Case , I Have Not Been Sent For Emissions Testing Yet And My Rear 02 Sensors Went Out And I Had To Pay $650, Now Had I Been Sent For Emissions And Failed For That Reason Then I Would Have Been $650 Richer! Now I Bet Anyday I Will Receive The Letter To Bring In My Vehicle For Emissions Testing! Just My Luck! Hope This Helps And Good Luck With The 02 Sensors, I Heard They Usually Go Out Around 60k For The 00-01's! Not Too Sure On The 02-03's
