Recall on 5.5gen clutches?
Was there ever a recall on these? I've checked what recalls have been made on the 02 and never noticed it. I also haven't noticed a TSB for it either.....

There is a TSB for a clutch 'howl' on the 5.5 gens but no recalls.

It is funny how, I notice something yesterday and I already see a post. Does the clutch " howl" occur when you basically over rev the car and are letting out the clutch and it has a loud whine? My '02 has 39k miles on it and it just started yesterday on my way home from work.

If this is the case do you know what is involved for fixing it?

BTW, I didn't see the TSB in the 5th gen sticky above, is it one of the transmission slips?

The TSB # is NTB02-084

They have to replace the clutch disc.
