AE 5MT with Helical or Viscous LSD

I know us 4th gen guys can have viscous LSD and 02-03 can have helical LSD, but what about the AE LSD?

FAQ did not help.

Thanks.

in light of all the snow...how does the LSD handle? I know LSD is awesome in launching because if one wheel spins it will switch to the other, and keeping doing so until traction is gained...but in the snow wouldn't you just sit there spinning??

Actually when you launch, both wheels just spin a lot instead of one wheel spinning a lot and the front end hops a lot. Same for snow except for the hopping.

IMO, vlsd is not all that great for drag applications from what i've read. I'd personally prefer the clutch type HLSD than the liquid VLSD.

Do all 6 speed 02-03 Maxima's have LSDs? If not, which models had LSd's.

Thanks,
Gears
