Auto tranny question

What's up 5th genners? I have a question. To explain, check it. On the 2nd gen autos there is an overdrive safety mechanism that nissan installed. This feature will not allow the car to shift into overdrive, when it is cold, until it is warmed up to a certain temperature. I hate this feature on my car. I have been pondering the 2000-2001 5th gen's lately for my next car, hopefully later this year. Do the 5th gen auto's have to worry about anything of that sort? Only reason why I ask is because looking for an 00-01 5 speed manual is like looking for a needle in a hay stack.

The 2000 has the same O.D. lockout feature during "warmup".
