Condensation in 2002 HIDs

Well I cleared my hids today but they didn't seal up very well. After I washed my car I noticed quite a bit of condensation. Tomorrow I'm going to open it up and reseal it. Is there anything I could buy to help with the sealing? What would be the best way to get the condenstion out without leaving streaks or stains?
Thanks!

And thanks to housecor for the howto!

You opened up the headlights and didn't spring for the DDEs?? Oh well, in any case...

I didn't have any condensation problems (luckily), but if you noticed, housecor said something about leaving the parking/clearance bulb out for a few days to let the warm air out of the light. Not sure what else you could do short of re-opening it and adding more silicone/glue of some sort around the edges before re-sealing. This may be a really dumb question, but are you positive the dust covers are on all the way?

there is a valve on the back that lets it air out....but you should make sure they seal properly or it wont work.

I say, bake them, open them up, clean and re-seal. That's what I did

So does dealer know how to open the valve and let the air out and re-seal it back PROPERLY? anyone successfully cleaned the HID on their 02 max?

Looks like that's what I'll be doing. I just hope nothing is permanantly streaked or stained.
Thanks

The valve is always open. There is a little rubber hose on the back of the headlight assembly that leads to it. And no, the dealerships wont touch it.

Well, I just finished cleaning the haze off the inside and resealing both hids. I ended up getting some of that silicone on the outside of the lens and it really is a PIA to get off.
Thanks

Ok, so is there a "how-to" to clean the HID? And will it look like a brand new car shape again? Thanks.
