Buzzing sound

I have a 2000 SE 5 speed. I have been getting an aweful BUZZ sound that occurs at start-up, lasts about .5-1 second, and seems to change pitch with the engine RPM's. The sound started to occur @ 60,000 miles, and only in cold weather.

There are some links available re: BUZZ, but I can't open them.

Anyone experienced this?

Ike

ike i get the same thing on my 01 ae, i have auto though- but we have electronic motor mounts, and it sounds like it can be the motor mounts - i usually get a 1-2 sec buzz right before i turn the key all the way to start, or when i step on the gas pedal in park or drive i get the buzzing sound too! car runs fine, it has been doing this noise for over a yr now but i will probably get it checked out under my extended warranty in the spring/summer. i forgot who it was but someon on the org. had the same thing before and mentioned his mechanic told him it was the electric motor mounts- not sure how the work but i guess they lift up/down! good luck , im just taking a guess on this but let me know if it is something else! peace
