To those who have rewired their foglights

Im new at thes electrical stuff so bare with me. What does splicing mean? In a write up i read that u have to splice some wires. Do u mean that u strip a portion of the rubber on the outside of a wire to expose the copper wire? And with a wire a tap.. what does that do? Does it connect together two "spliced" wires laying parrallel to each other? If appreciate the help, Thanks

Yes, and yes.

You might want to have a friend who's done some electrical work show you once before you try to do it on your own.

to be honest it was a pain getting the relay box out for me. I also suggest getting a friend to help you, but on top of that before you call a friend over try and get the relay box on the passenger side of the engine bay un-mounted.
