super luminations 12 led front turn signal bulb problem ( need advice )

I just purchase a set of 7440 front turn signal 12 led light bulbs from superluminations.com. They have 9 forward facing led's and 3 side facing led's. When I turn the emergency lights on, both the blinkers blink normal. When I turn each blinker on individualy, it blinks super fast ( weird ). Do you guys know why that could be?

The LED light draws very little power. When you burn out a regular bulb, the turn signal blinks faster to alert you that you have a bulb out. So when you put a very low wattage bulb in, like an LED, the car thinks the bulb is burnt out and blinks fast. The only way to correct it is to add a resistor, very easy to do, and most LED bulb web sites sell them.
