I noticed after installing a K&N Panel, the 5th gen 5spd engine kinda makes a more of a higher pitch engine whine the faster the rpms the more the whine is. Kinda weird. I wanted to see if anyone else noticed this?

 

It ALWAYS made the whine. You just hear or notice it more now with the K&N.

I hoped the SI would have helped to cover it up some, but it just added a whistle and hiss. Now I got a whine and hiss with a whistle. It's definitely NOT the growl our Sentras' made with the "open air box" mod.

I have it also. It is much more noticeable with the OSCAI at certain rpms....
