I have the 120 watt system in my 2001 SE now, but it just doesnt have enough punch. Does anyone know the $$ for Nissan to install the 200 watt system with the sub-woofer?

I think that the only way to do that would be to purchase all components from the dealer. That will be $$$$$. If you spend the same amount on an aftermarket system it will sound better and have more features.

I agree with the other dude. You might end up purchasing a new amp and speakers and cross-over controllers. The dealer will most likely rip you a new a-hole. Better to just install an aftermarket system. It will run approx the same price, and better yet, you can sell your currect Bose system to someone and cut down your cost.

Hummm... I've got the 200 watt Bose and am also underwhelmed with the punch. The 80 watt aftermarket unit in my Explorer seems to have more 'power' than this Bose. You may want to consider something else.

Here is the thing guys, First off, remember that you have a "BOSE" system. They have never been, nor ever will be a system that gives the extra punch you want. It all has to do with the EQ curve on the damn headunit that BOSE loves to make. Everyone knows that their Speakers and Systems are designed for normal Jazz or Clasical music. Believe me I know cause a friend of mine works at BOSE, and they do not test their speakers or systems with anything near HipHop, Rap, or Rock.
