The outer lens' on your stock 5.5 gen HID's are completely clear, right? I know that the 5th gen H/L's like mine have some sort of squiggly lines by the blinker light, while the area in front of the H/L is completely clear. So my question is, since the 5.5 gen H/L's will mount up and line up on a 5th gen, is it safe to say that the outer lens from a 5.5 gen would line up on the housing of a 5th gen H/L? Just a quick question. Thanks in advance.

 

I'll look tomorrow for you while I'm installing my 2002-3 HIDs and taking out my OEM headlights..

 

Thanks man. I'm trying to plan a little project, and was just wondering if it was all clear. I'm pretty sure it is. I just don't like those lines in front of the blinker. Anybody else take apart their '00-'01 H/L's? Those squiggly lines are on the lens right?

 

BRAN808, you're correct. The lens on the 5.5 HID's is clear, no lines or ripples.
