Hello folks,

I did a search but not much info. came up. Does anyone know how difficult it is to replace the stock mirror with the one that has a digital compass built-in? I have been looking at Ebay and they list Gentex and Donnelly mirrors as compatible mirrors. The rear plug of my mirror is a 7-wire plug but only the first two wires are present and used. Will a new compass mirror use the same stock plug or do I have to re-wire the entire thing?

Thanks, I will post the pics if I decide to do it. I need to figure out what's the right harness first.

 

i replaced mine with a mirror from an 03', just a matter of plugging in the wiring into the new mirror. It literally took 5-10 minutes to do the whole process. I bought the mirror from a junkyard, car-part.com. It cost me $45 shipped, take a look at car-part.
