My AC recently stopped working, Although the compressor turns on when i hit the button. the heater works fine and when i turn on the ac all i get is heat, so i did some tearing apart in the dash and found a little green fuse like thing. It was in the temp control **** that slides back and forth horizantally to make the air warm or cold. this little fuse thing looks blown, i have never seen one before. the green plastic part is a lil smaller then a pensil eraser top and has 2 legs coming out of it about an inch long each ( looks like little wires) it doesnt say how many amps it is or anything and noone not even the nissan parts dealer knows what it is. i explained where i found it and he looked it up and said that its not on his parts list and i would have to buy the whole control assembly ( 250-600 bucks he said depending on my Vin #)just to get this fuse thing. Thats BS i think. Was curious if anyone knows what i am talking about and can help me with getting one, if you want to know what it is or looks like just pop your temp contol button off and its right their it slides right in easy to pull out ect at least in the 2k2's. this is my last hope. i hope someone out there can help thanx alot
