What color was this Max?

I saw a real clean 5th gen Max today as I came home from work today that really got my attention. It was a bright silver color. It was so bright it looked like a Platinum color. I know this sounds ridiculous, but what is the factory name of this color?

Sorry, I don't have any pics. I know there are probably some Max experts out there that know what I'm taking about. I'm kinda interested in buying a 5.5 Max so I thought I'd ask.

My compliments to other owners with this car. My carpool buddy and I were drooling over this thing!

Is there titanium as a body color? I thought you could get a Titanium Edition of the sheer silver... but not a titanium color... the TE was supposed to be some sort of trim....

Thanks for the replies. The car had chrome SE wheels on it also if that helps. Maybe a special edition car?

Yep. I was gonna' say that the polished rims make the sheer silver stand out even more. Definitely a Sheer Silver TE.

Ya thats it, because they were not a real bright chrome.

Thanks Puppetmaster,
THATS IT. Thats the color. The second picture did it. Once again you guys have not let me down! This site is awesome. Well I have a new Max favorite color. Buy the way, my carpool buddy is 55 years old and he commented about the car first. I take it that this is a pretty rare color? TE stands for Titanium Edition?

Sterling Mist is pretty fine color too.

Good Work guys,
Gears

there is a titanium color, looks really nice and really rare. Its a wierd color to see in photographs, it looks photoshopped. Anyways, it had the all clears from ebay. Can't remember who, it was on cardomain and he posted his car up on here before.

the thing with the polished titanium is that you can only get it with the titanium edition (IIRC). I still have to see what it looks like in real life though.

Sheer Silver = very bright clean silver
Titanium = rare and has a hazy blue tint
Sterling Mist = original silver, slight dull brown appearance
Grey Lustre = not silver, dark grey

That Titanium almost beats us out though. (Plus, they don't have a car that looks like this after it rains:
