Well, for starters, the 03 comes in a titanium edition. There are a few more but I have not seen one in person to tell you the rest but someone one here will definitely respond.

yes 2003 holds a little more value , but the theft for the headlights seems to be pretty even in 2k2 and 2k3

hmmm

The 2k2 has more problems than the 2k3...

The 2k2 has different parts such as the throttle body than the 2k3.

There are many reasons they are alike and different.

seriously, how much more problemsome is the 2k3 vs the 2k2, because my next one will be a 2k2. Its all I can afford.

ALL cars have their own stupid little problems. 5thgen maximas are pretty much maintenance free until 100K miles. You will not find another car in the same class that requires much less maintance. Like Polak inferred it really isn't worth going in depth about the minor differences because the differences that do exist should not influence your decision to buy one or the other.

Outside of a blown MAF sensor and a defective HU, my 2k2 has been pretty trouble free.

If I had to do it over again: Infiniti I35 w/sport package (pre-2004 IIRC)
