i thought someone did an actual led swap out of their instrument cluster.

and there was someone who converted their key ring light with two leds

are we expecting a write up from the home depot king as well? that would be terrific.

I think i'm the only one who's done a two LED key ring setup...I don't have access to a digital camera all the time, so I wasn't able to provide a write up. If someone can provide pics of their keyring with pics of the wiring it plugs into I can use photoshop and make a writeup.

Here's what mine looks like, the picture is pretty good but in seeing it by eye, it's just amazing.

considering
1. there are plenty of good write-ups out there already for this and
2. I'm not taking everything BACK apart to take pics of it...

no....don't hold your breath. I'm only going to write something up if isn't already a good write-up for it out there, in most cases.....especially since cardomain is always NOT WORKING these days and it takes forever to post stuff between all the damn error messages....

some people have coloured in their bulbs, others have added a different power source for their leds.

but as for a great solid write up on how to swap your LEDS with adding resistors where needed i have only seen the one with the door switches.(which was great by the way.)

i'm just jealous of those who have done it because it looks amazing

thanks....
I'm actually considering switching all the dash and switches to red now....getting a little tired of the blue

we'll see how much free time I have this summer. If I do the changeover, maybe I'll take some pics when I do it and do a how-to....but this won't be for several months!

I've got a couple different orders of LED bulbs from the link below, and they've always been good bulbs with quick shipping. Prices are generally better than ebay, and you can order online whenever you want. I have no affiliation with them, just a happy customer.

A few things:
(1) For actual LED Bulbs these prices are nothing short of highway robbery. You can get a pack of 50 LEDs on EBay that will be 2k MCD brighter for $0.15 per unit. PLUS, you can get them with resistors for a measley additional $0.02.

(2) I have changed ALL my lights to LEDs acquired from both the above source and Autolumination.com. Personally, I have been far more impressed with autolumination...their customer service is top-notch and their website has a much better layout; autolumination has a much better description of how thier bulbs work and the applications.

Not that I am knocking superbrightleds, but I have had a much friendlier and econmically sound experience with autolumination & EBay.

Were you the one working on the blue LEDs shining on the cluster?
