I never race, so i just need something better than the stock GLE suspension setup. What do you guys recommend.

I think ya need to be more specific... what do ya consider "better than the stock GLE suspension"?

Is it for looks or performance? Is lower better? Is softer better? Harder? Do ya want a set-up that has better handling? What kinda roads do ya drive on?

If ya haven't already gone to this site:

http://www.innerbean.com/housecor/sp..._decision.html

Try doing a search too, because this has been discussed many times...

Finally, suspension set-ups are a very personal preference... there is an endless spectrum of opinions as to what set-up is recommended, everyone will say that their set-up is the "best"... my advice would be to find some local .Org guys around SI, I know there are plenty... check out their rides; how they look, how they ride, etc... and figure out what ya want... and then maybe get opinions on a specific strut/spring combo...

I have Tokico HP struts and Progress springs... TO ME, they ride nicely and they handle great... and most will agree that the drop looks good too...

I think things would be different if he didn't get shafted since he waited so long to get those and if they didn't come with a multitude of problems....

They might be a really nice product if they where more quality put into these things ! Funny thing is my friend builds PRO drift cars for a living and when I told him I got JICs he told me I won't have em for too long before they blow out.... I put them on and 100 miles later, many adjustments I declared the LF strut blown. Told him he was right and I was wrong. I guess you live n learn, I after I get my suspension dialed in, and my 18s go back on the car for summer you won't see me spend a dollar on Maxima mods no more. I have invested way too much time, $$$ and my own sweat into this car, and its just getting to the point where I don't wanna do anything more to it. I am going back to where I started- and most of ya know where I started. 3 letters, SE-R.

Tein H-tech w/ tokico blues will give you a more firm quality ride and better handling.
