brake problem. Help please.
I changed rear brake pads and rotors yesterday. I couldn’t get one of the pistons back into caliper, so I disconnected the brake fluid line. After I put everything together, I took a test drive, and encountered a following problem.
When I push the brake pedal, at first I feel brakes starting to stop the car, but then the pedal travels down very easily without any effect on stopping the car. Only when the pedal is all the way down, then the brakes are stopping the car. BTW, I tested the hand brake, and it seems to work fine.
What’s the problem with my brakes? How can I fix it?
Help please.

i had the same exact problem when i did my rear brakes. turns out that there was air in the lines. bleed the rear brake lines first, right wheel than left wheel. check your fluif level and try agIN

though I decided that I won't do this procedure by myself, and will take the car to my mechanics. I also need to replace dust seals in rear pistons (they are in very bad condition at 70k), so I ask them to do that and to change brake fluid.
