i was browsing ebay out of boredom and came upon this auction. i'm not even interested in more than half that crap but i do kinda like the calipers. what do you guys think? i wonder if they're available separately.

well you wouldn't really want to buy them separate...you cant install them on a maxima. you'll need the entire kit to be able to use those calipers, I will eventually get this kit when i have extra extra money from matt himself. his stuff is great you should talk to him if you have any questions.

That seem like Matt's kit if you can get it anywhere under $1800 that's a great deal.

who's matt? the kit is $1000 on ebay.
so there's no way i'd be able to just swap out my calipers for something different. like maybe brembo ones with the brembo logo on them? i want tthem to stand out but i'd like something more than just painting them.

Anything is possible given enough money. After market calipers typically require a different mounting bracket. So you can't just bolt on calipers to your car. There are a few options out there like the calipers that you sent a link to. These also require a different mounting bracket. (BTW the ones in your picture coem on the 300Z)

Remeber the references to "Matt's kit" above?? That's where you get the bracket.
