it won't do anything noticable, it's mainly just for looks. go with a good spring/strut combo, a rear anti-sway bar, and a fstb and you'll be in good shape.

hey i got a question for you, what size falken's you wrapped on your stock 17s? and how long did it take you to install your springs? i got some progress getting put in soon. it's cool, i started this thread. i have 235 45 17 falkens st115 and i'm just scared it's gonna look funny because of the lower profile.

No... it won't look funny... I have 235/45/17 ZEIX 512s and I think it looks fine with the Progress drop... and even though I preach DIY, sadly, I didn't do my own install. FASHIZL did the suspension swap and tire mounting and balancing for me altogether, it was more convenient that way... took him under 1.5 hrs to do the suspension with a lift and airtools by himself....

that's cool man, yeah because i want my springs installed tomorrow at the shop i work at but my buddy will probably end up doing it with his airtools and 15G toolbox. i also have a stripped nut on my front end hopefully he can pull some magic. yeahhh your setup looks nice, i was questioning whether they were 45 profile, looks perfect so i was scared to hear they would be 50 profile falkens. i have my brand new st115's sitting in my room ahah and ready for me to balance and mount.

Dont let people tell.........

Dont let people tell you that the rstb does nothing . I have one & bought one knowing about the negligable diference in feel. I call it completeing the box. You got yourself a fstb, springs & struts combo a rear sway bar & some people also tie in the suspension from underneath with a Blehmco prodduct . So why not put on the rstb? You have allready invested about a grand in your suspension whats another $50 bucks to have it complete. Close the box.

that's true. it's a give and take tho, some hate taking up space in their trunk (ahah just read it in the links above) but do you have to modify your trunk lining, cut it so the tower goes through...? i know it def makes the car more rigid and take bumps more aggressively. if i find one i'll try to get one, if it's no good it's only a minor bolt on, takes 15 mins to un/install

Talk to Irish about the set-up with FSTB, RSB, and LTB (lower tie bar)... I'm not exactly sure how it works (although there were a couple threads discussing this) but its probably more effective, although more expensive, than a RSTB and won't mess with your trunk space....

I dont think.

I dont think it takes up much trunk space at all. Just a drop. Also if you plan on adding a audio system my Stillen RSTB protects my amp which is attached to the backing of my backseat from anything that might slide around in the trunk. I will post a picture of my setup.

you can install the center bar upside down, and that will leave your pass-through clear. I left it, but my trunk's always empty.
