meguiars #26 hi-tech yellow has worked well for me. 3M makes some really good products also. Their imperial hand glaze is some awesome stuff

I want to try Zaino...

which Zaino products do you guys/gals recommend? I want something like a clay bar, Meguiar's 3 step thingy, detailing stuff, etc. I didn't see any recommendations in the cleaning sticky thread. Any info will be appreciated. Thanks!

Ive used meguiars (professional & consumer grade) for about the last 8 years with very good results, but I'm going to try the 3m products soon.

Zymol

Having tried a number of things:

Turtle Wax
Maguires
Rain X

I find Zymol to be the best so far... having said that I am tempted to try Zaino.

Kev, I should hopefully have some results for you early next week (providing my order gets here in time for the weekend). It's going to be a busy weekend for me... overseeding the lawn, installing my POP-Charger, waxing the Max with Zaino!!!

Up to this point I've been using Maguires 26 yellow wax on my baby. Not bad and I like the fact that it doesn't leave flaky residue like Mother's Gold does (at least in my experience and, yes, I turned the cloth and used a fresh one when needed).

Really looking forward to using the Zaino stuff!

Best wax

I've got you all beat. . . There's a wax called FleetWax. It's not known very well at all for one reason - it's made for fiberglass boats. We've been using it for years with no negative effects, and the maker says it can be used on cars.

Since it's made for boats, it's amazing with keeping water and grim off cars, and it sticks for a good while. We're fanatically, so might wax the car once a month, but it's usually good for 6 months if you keep up with washing the car.

It's very hard to get, very few places stock it - it can only be had at Marine shops. Wondering if I should get a few extra cases and pass them out? Interest?

Collinite's Fleetwax

As posted Fleetwax has got to be one of the best kept secrets around, what makes it so admired is the ease of application and the fact that it's detergent-proof.

http://www.waxbytes.com/auto.html (you may have to cut and paste)

Collinite Wax has been around 50 years and is made in Utica, N.Y. and once only marinas carried it, They can't seem to keep it on the shelves down here as performance boat owners swear by it.

Collinite also make a Concours type wax and a automotive line but I've been more than impressed with the Fleetwax
