Steering wheel shake at 80 mph

I've replaced my struts and springs last year and have been having continuing problems with steering wheel shaking. It only happens past 70 mph to 80 mph and not when I'm braking (Replaced front rotors with brembo zinc plated). I've had my tires balanced and alignment done but which seems to help significantly but still shakes a bit at those mph. Is there any fix or do I have to live with it? (103k mi on odo).

Well when I had the car inspected by the dealer they said the shaking is due to bad front links... in my case the wheel was shaking (turning left and right) at high speeds but only when brakes were applied. Never bothered to fix it, maybe it's just bad rotors.

a bad tire could cause this. rotate the wheels (front to rear, rear to front) and see if the problem disappears. if it does, you know 1 of the rear tires is bad. it's an easy way to diagnose, and if it the problem persists, then you can assume from that point that it's not at the wheels, but in the suspension assembly.

Have you have a wheel alignment yet? If not, maybe you should look into it.

Chances are it is tire related. Either not balanced right (Did they use one of them Roadforce machines and balanced to 1/4 oz?) or one of tires is out of round. i had this happen with my new set of tires. Had to go back 4 times to rebalance/replace tires.......finally got it .
