Anyone familiar w/ JIC Magic exhausts?

I am looking to possibly sell my frankencar exhaust and buy one of these. I want more of a straight thru design because i believe the frankencar is to restrictive and I want a louder exhaust. Any suggestions? REASON=My wife wanted a minivan so now the maxima is no longer a traveling car

the one they offer looks good, but they had to put the rice tip on. i wouldnt it on my max

With regards to having a louder exhaust, do ya have the FC with or w/o resonator? I've been toying with the idea of replacing that resonator section with just straight piping.... I know it doesn't affect the flow in the muffler itself... but it may make it sound more "noticeable"...

I was going to suggest that the FC Catback may be the thing holding you back from the 240+ hp level but I didn't want to upset anyone. As far as the JIC, I haven't heard of anyone running one yet.

is the FC catback 2.25 overall diameter piping?

FC has 2.5" piping, but the muffler design is not straight through because there is more dampening and such.... that's why it is commonly believed that straight through mufflers like the GReddy designs will see more gains (with other mods) than with the FC muffler....
