Actually im gonna need my climate control just because its winter. MAybe i could just purchase it off of you? I remember u posted a thread wanting to sell it but i cant seem to find it. The only reason im asking to buy it because the two buttons that blew out are pissin me off. I hear the part number for the bulb is 27545-1W600, do u know where i can go to purchase that? Is there a guy online that sells em? Thanks

don't think so...mine is practically brand new (installed this winter), so I'm not gonna be interested in swapping for one that has broken parts.....Anyhow, I found a way to remove the blue from mine, so I'm just gonna change it back to stock myself and save the hassle of shipping, etc.

sorry....but btw, it's very easy to do the blue on the climate control. You need a blue sharpie and an overhead projector transparency sheet. That's it..,...

I will check tomorrow and see if I have the bulbs from my old (broken) climate control unit. You can buy the bulbs at any Nisssan dealer, BTW...they are a couple bucks each.

Yeah man that would be great if you can find those bulbs... and oh yeah ive been meaning to ask u this. On your fogs, why did you go with a 9006 capsule? whats wrong wtih the h3 one? And if i purchase the h3 capsules, will it be just as difficult to put it on or do i just have to pop it over the bulb and slip it behind the light shield? Thanks again.... O and one more thing, if i do have to open up the housing, do i REALLY need to put new silicone on it? whats wrong with just heating the old one up and resealing it?

yellow fogs: http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....low+lexus+fogs

look at post #5 in this thread....

yes, you need new silicone. the old stuff cannot be heated up enough to achieve a good seal without also melting the fog light lens (which you DON'T want to do).....

I will look for the bulbs tomorrow, but can't promise anything. In the meantime, call your local dealer and see if they have them...they're only a couple of bucks and they will be new, unlike mine which have 4 years of use on them (and at least one is burned out, but not sure which)

trust me, I tried that first with high-heat/strength epoxy. After a week, it broke loose and the yellow thing was just sitting in the bottom of my fog light. Glue/epoxy does not like to stick to the silver reflective surface of the inner housing, and it also gets heated up VERY hot by the bulb in there.....Drilling the holes takes about 2 seconds....well worth it to make sure the capsule is secure, because opening up the fogs multiple times is a PITA.

Im a little confused with your write up, You tell us to drill three holes and then cut three holes? Steps 6 and 10 seem like they are the same thing except one says to drill and the other says to cut. So when the reflector piece is "drilled" you simply stick the legs in and fold them over? and your done securing it?
one more thing... how do i purchse these from hidtech? they have no "buy" button. Do i have to contact them thru email?
