I am going to have to replace my front bumper cover and wanted to know if 2002 bumper cover will fit correctly on to a 2000 Maxima. If not what problems should I expect?

 

someone actually did it. it's a direct fir, from what i remember. you will have a gap in between the head lights though

 

It's pretty much a bolt-on, but does require a bunch of odds and ends to work like screws, clips, plugs, etc.. and with theout 2K2 lights there is a pretty good gap below the headlamps.

Also, the fogs aren't interchangeable, so if you have SE fogs, you'll need 2k2+ fogs.

The fitment is direct, down to the part #'s. Your body shop should be able to bolt it right on. See my cardomain for multiple pics of the GAP if you still choose to run 2k1 headlights with a 2k2 bumper. IMO not as bad as you think, and you don't even notice it until you are close. Good luck

 

One more thing: Statix, check for the HID's from Triple8sol if he still has them, otherwise Ebay Performance_Depot has replicas (I don't have them personally, but they are like $600 shipped w/ ballasts).

So how does the 2002 HIDs fit on a 2000 car? It seems like they should be two big.
