Please be kind regarding performance as I have used QoS to limit the amount of bandwidth this site can take from my total available (I have other things going on here, sorry). For bandwidth reasons, the site is very simple and to the point. I will add links to any site which would like to link to this site...I have already added a link for Maxima.ORG and B15Sentra.NET on the results page (seen after the form is submitted).
Everybody who has the paint problems we've been discussing on this site, please visit the site and fill out the form provided. All data will be automatically compiled into a database and easily "email-able" to Nissan. I have a letter, prepared by Srmtn, which can be used as cover to send this information to W.J. Kirrane, VP Nissan North America...I will paste in a follow-up post to this one.
FYI...You will need to have your vehicle's build date (found on driver's door labeling) and your VIN handy when registering your complaint.

Current Sentra Registration Count: 10
Please continue to follow-up to the original paint problems thread if you wish to comment on the paint issues further. This thread is merely intended to let everyone know about the web site.

BTW, I got tired of the chipping, 8 chips in 3 weeks, so I bought a Carflector bug deflector. You can order them from Advanced Autoparts Stores. By comparison, my jeep wrangler has 20,000 miles and only 1 paint chip. There has to be a problem with the Nissan paint.
Paint quality
I know that's gonna cause a lot of flames... Anyways, I have 5-spd Y2k SE grey lustre, washed it 2 weeks ago and looked for paint chips--could not find any. I have about 15k miles on it, approx. 75%city/25% highway driving.
Under the hood there is a sticker "Hard clear coat-use only approved finishing".
Don't get me wrong--I am not trying to say that paint is perfect. I just don't have any chips (yet).
P.S. BTW, I've got "A touch of class" exterior/interior protection from the dealer. I was regretting that for a while (friends told me that was stupid); however, maybe it's not that useless?

I would assume that one of the main reasons is that you have so much city driving. If your in the city, you have much less change of doing speeds that will fling objects/etc at you. If I only drove mine in the city, I would probably have less chance of having them.
Granted, paint chips will happen but not to this extent. The paint is very delicate.
