air filter...?
air filter...?
my check engine light has been on for a few days and i was coming closer and closer to taking it over to the nissan dealership to have them take a look at it. then by just a random stroke of luck, i decided to change the air filter in my car realizing i hadn't done that since i purchased it. when i later went to turn my car on the check engine light was off. my main question is, is it possible that the air filter itself was causing the check engine light to be on or should i still have it looked at?

It will flash you the code that your car is throwing, and reset the check engine light. It will save you $80 or so in diagnostic fees.
