Putting on jack stands makes it much easier, with more room to move around in. I placed my jack stands a bit behind the front wheels. If you take a closer look, there are little knotches. You'll know what im talking about once you look at it. Good luck with the install, remember not to touch the lenses on the bulbs. I got the Super Plasma GTX and like them pretty well.
once you get the lil shield thing off the bottom, and you take out the 2 nuts from the back of the fog light, it should almost just fall out. just a little pressure and thats it. those nuts are the only thing holding it on.
You can check out this page. It should come out with a small push. http://www.cardomain.com/member_page...224200&page=13. The only difficulty I had was to disconnect the fog assembly from the main harness. I used a small head screw driver to to push in the tabs. Ed.

THis was helpful... the link to the instructions in the how-to's doesn't work and now I feel beter about doing this... I hadn't ventured to do it since I first look here before I do anything on my car...

I didnt go at it from below at all. I actually was swapping headlight bulbs at the same time so with headlights out you can see the back of the fog light housing and there is no shield in the way. It took me maybe 10 minutes to change my fog bulbs.
