Need HELP with bucking 2000 GXE!!!

I have a 2000 maxima GXE 5-speed and everytime it sits for a couple hours and cools off, when i get on the road and doing about 40mph holding steady throttle in say 4th gear, the car bucks like CRAZY!! there is NO check engine light, no codes in memory, the tach needle doesnt move when this is happening, and i have removed all coils and checked for any moisture in the plug holes. After driving for about 2 minutes and the engine starting to warm up, it is fine. the dealer just replaced my complete intake manifold stating the bronze bushings werent sealing when cold. these i am told are the bushings that hold the shaft that going across the manifold that holds the secondary intake manifold runners. does this sound right> either way, they informed me it didnt fix the problem. my extended warranty paid for the repair, but they wont pay for another repair due to misdiagnosis!! PLEASE HELP if you have experienced this before!! I am a ford tech and have been letting Nissan do the work, but if i can save myself the cash and headache ill fix it myself!! OH, the car has a NEW MAF sensor also, which made a big difference, but never cured the early morning bucking problem. thanks!!!

Does the problem go away once it's been running for a bit and has warmed up? If so, then there is nothing to do, my car does the same thing. Get used to it and let it warm up before you drive hard.

well, that is what my car does but that isnt acceptable to me, NOR should it be to anyone else! I talked to the dealer earlier and they said at 10:30am they replaced the front 3 coils with known good coils and let it sit till 4pm. then they drove it and it was ok-however, today it has been very warm out and i dont know if the temperature will have any affect on this. Ill let you know what happens tomorrow in the morning when they try it! thanks

at least your intake manifold is new and replaced... I'm sure you know about the VIAS issues.

I read a little about them, and I am glad. However, now i have to worry about the REAL problem, and I know my extended warranty wont pay for Nissan's misdiagnosis! So odds are I will be stuck with the bill after paying so much extra for this warranty. Damn this sucks!

I think its to do with your clutch more than anything. Make sure the pressure plate isnt worn out

It's not the clutch. I've had this same problem for about 2 years now, and have replaced the clutch in that time frame.

I think its the clutch. Got the same prob. My clutch is 101k miles old. However, it may also be clutch with that Fuel cut TSB issue together combined.

It is OK for a car w/manual to buck at low RPMs in lowest gears. 4th gear at 40MPH is roughly 2000rpm....do you have the same bucking problem at the same rpms in the 5th gear? How many miles are on your car? I'd think it is a fuel-delivery problem...check out the fuel pump/fuel filter.

Did you read all the previous posts first? NO

"It's not the clutch. I've had this same problem for about 2 years now, and have replaced the clutch in that time frame."

And I'll throw this in for you also. I've had my ECU re-programmed 3 times since I got my car. The last time being in Oct/Nov and no it didn't help.

***********UPDATE***************

Nissan called me today and said so far everything is OK since installing the 3 new front coils. I had a friend pick it up and he said he felt a mild misfire, but not like it was. Ill have to wait till it cools off completely and find out for myself. I know its not the clutch, i have 81K and my clutch is fine. The car has a new fuel filter, air filter, and just had a fuel cleaner run in the tank, injector cleaner run through the fuel rail, induction cleaning, and throttle body cleaning. fuel pressure is fine also, so i know thats not an issue. I have pulled dtc's and there are none. This problem happens while holding steady speed ONLY when cold!! doesnt matter if im in 3rd,4th,or 5th gear as long as i hold the pedal at a steady speed around 2-2500 rpm,s. Kinda ****ty if you ask my that nissan cannot figure this out cause it seems to be a common problem. Anyway, I will update everyone tonight as to whether the saga will continue!! Thanks for all the help!
