My SES light came on the other day...I haven't noticed any decrease in performance since it did. I went to Autozone today and they were unable to pull any codes from the ECU! In fact, it didn't even power up the code reader. The Autozone guys thought that it was either a problem with the wiring to the port, the port itself, or I have a problem with my ECU. Has anyone experienced this before? What are the first steps I should take to solve the problem?

 

Did they know what they were doing? CHeck the harness wiring to your connector.

 

or... their scanner is faulty!
