Just at the point of opening the driver's door, the door being about 5 degrees open, the rubber stripping on the door squeeks against the car (rear part of front fender). Only in warm weather. Obviously I can't play the stereo to blot the noise out, because I am getting in or out the car.
Is ther a simple-no-dealer-involved fix?

Silicone

Get a rag and spray some silicone on it and rub all the stripping down well with it. Cured me right up.

Re: Silicone

Mine does this too. Thanks, mfaile, I went out in the garage, and no more problem. Anybody know why it only happens on the drivers side?
