P1320- How do I fix this?

I been searching and searching and cannot find some good info on what to do. I am pretty sure that it is the ignition coils, though. I took all of them out and tested them for impedance. Interestingly, they tested backwards. I got infiniti for one way and about 12 ohms the other way. The chiltons book says the correct readings should be opposite. Symptoms include car shaking when in gear at low RPM, service engine soon lights and occasionally TCS and SLIP lights on. The car only shakes every once in a while. Most times, it drives fine. Should I be like forget it and replace all 6 coils? 2000 GLE with 41k miles. Thanks guys, I really miss my neon!

Replace them and if the light comes on it will probably be the sensor.

thanks for being extemely unhelpful, you guys have about 1/10th the knowledge the dodge neon guys have. I have googled the entire internet and there is nothing out there. Find me a post that is useful on the "P1320" code. Nice freakin' search on this website.

It's asked here every single day. There is more than one page on the forum, look through some of them.

Donate or stop complaining.

You forgot to say "Please"... "find me a post that is useful on the "P1320" code" is not gonna cut it....

Did you really Google "the entire internet"? Because there seems to be a lot of P1320 threads in these forums... guess ya missed a spot...

From the Stickies:

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=374481

For instructions on how to search these forums (if you had read the Stickies before complaining, you'd know how to do that and why the .Org search function doesn't work for you):

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=368622

Then you would find something like this:

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....ighlight=P1320

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....ighlight=P1320

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....ighlight=P1320

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....ighlight=P1320

And there are tons more out there...

I'm gonna ignore all your Neon comments but I do hope ya quit your whining from now on....

well I tell you what, when I use the yahoo search I get nothing. I guess I stand corrected. Who is this DaveB character? Sounds like I gotta bite the bullet and buy the coils. Never had a problem like this with either of my former neons. Thanks for the links puppetmaster, I will pretend I didnt see the limp wrist.

Here is a link to the TSB about this problem. Instead of wasting time testing them you are better off just replacing them all because the others will most likely go bad also. The newer model coil is supposed to have a gray dot on the top of the connector of the coil. I replaced all six a while back and have not had the problem come back. Give Dave B a call at 888-254-6060, he's the coil man!!
